The royals attended Sunday service at Sandringham church yesterday on the Queen’s estate, and the Duchess of Cambridge, wearing a fashionable tweed suit, shade boots and a navy floral felt hat, was greeted with flowers from well-wishers as she walked to the chapel with members of the royal family. While the special isn’t set to hit TV screens until until 4 January, the duo spoke to Event magazine about their chats with Prince William and Prince Harry, who confirmed that their dad is just as embarrassing as anyone else’s.
Ant and Dec spent a year tagging along with Prince Charles and were given a rare glimpse inside the Prince of Wales’s various homes. Prince William’s wife, Kate, gave birth to their first child, Prince George, in July 2013, and delivered a daughter, Princess Charlotte, in May 2015.
Besides, she probably had the best accessories around: a pair of princes in Prince William and Prince Harry. And while Prince Charles admitted that he has never changed his grandchildren’s nappies, he said he found some comfort in the fact they will be around “to look after me when I am doddering about”.
The prince, 67, made his comments in a documentary with Ant and Dec to celebrate 40 years of his charity The Prince’s Trust.
