Protesters interrupt Trump Vermont rally despite screening
Clearly the screening process didn’t work to prevent protests and at one point during Trump’s speech, he paused.

Trump seemed to struggle to rein in his temper as the protesters interrupted him with chants of “Bernie, Bernie”, that were so loud Trump supporters could not drown them out with a competing “Trump” chant.
Jess Kell of Burlington was among the undecideds booted by police.
“Okay, security, move a little faster please”. Trump released a statement saying he had to be “loyal” to his supporters after distributing 20,000 free tickets for a venue that could only fit 1,400 people. Before the rally, in which Trump was almost an hour late to begin, several business owners gave him a custom AR-15 rifle.
“Here’s a man who represents a rising, racist and fascist movement across the country”, said local Albert Petrarca, who held anti-Trump signs in his hands. Bernie has always railed against the 1 percent and still wants more regulation of the financial sector, while Trump has openly supported higher taxes on hedge funds.
Among those removed from the theater was Steven Kolpek of Burlington.
The Burlington Police reported that of the tickets issued, at least 6,500 have gone to people with valid emails who have confirmed their intent to show up. Those who said no were not allowed inside Burlington’s Flynn Center for the Performing Arts.
“They’re chopping off heads and she doesn’t like my tone”, Trump said. “They take your ticket, they ask you if you support Trump”.
“You have to have the political knowledge and courage to face those you’re confronting and that you disagree with”, she said. Thats where it needs to go, he said.
“It’s actually really heartbreaking”, he said.
“I can’t stand the guy”, Conrad said of Trump. “Get Trump Out!” from their seats in the audience.

Trump defended the decision, describing it a matter of loyalty. After another interruption, Trump simply called the protesters “rude”.
Outside, each time people were escorted from the theater, anti-Trump protesters gathered in City Hall Park across the street greeted them with cheers.
The Burlington rally is drawing national media attention.
The UK petition to ban Trump published the government’s response, which included: “The Prime Minister has made clear that he completely disagrees with Donald Trump’s remarks”. One walked down the aisle shouting, “Dump Trump!” Others staged more of a vigil than protest, holding candles. Trump’s supporters, including the one who heckled Sanders at a rally this week, are not necessarily part of the billionaire class to which their adored candidate belongs.
