PS Plus Subscription Prices Rising in UK and Europe
“From 1st September we will be increasing the price of monthly and three month PlayStation Plus subscriptions in line with market conditions”. Whether a similar price rise will occur in North America remains to be seen, so for now it appears the increase is limited to Europe.
Sony failed to reveal the new prices, but said they would be “in line with market conditions”.
Sony has confirmed the UK PS Plus membership prices will be increased in the very near future. However, it still faces criticism over download speeds and general stability.
PlayStation 4 continues to be on the top of its game with Xbox One struggling to keep up with PlayStation 4 sales.
The PlayStation Plus subscription fee increase has only been confirmed in Europe as of writing.
The other two occasions was when Sony launched “Infamous: First Light” and “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes”. While annual subscriptions will remain at £39.99, monthly and three-month subscriptions are getting more expensive, with the change taking effect from the start of September.
As much as it is putting a requirement on its gamers for the subscription it is offering, Sony has a bigger responsibility to offer Triple-A game titles.

It seems then Sony is looking to lock more players down with the yearly payments.
Fighting game titles like “Mortal Kombat X”, “Ultra Street Fighter IV”, and “Guilty Gear Xrd” as well as films like “Foxcatcher”, “Fight Club” and more are up for a 60% discount.
