PS Plus Vote to Play includes Broforce, Assault Android Cactus, Action Henk
The “Vote to Play” program will allow gamers to choose which free games they’ll get in March.
Sony has announced that the “Vote to Play” feature is returning this month. Voting begins on February 9th and the candidates include Action Henk!, Assault Android Cactus, and Broforce.
This is the second iteration of Vote to Play, which Sony introduced a year ago as something that would happen every few months. In other words, even if your friends dont own the game, they can jump into the game with you for hour-long sessions of cooperative shooting goodness.
Assault Android Cactus is like the top-down shooter reinvented. “For me, personally, one of the sweet spots in game design is a title that provides casual fun for nearly anyone who picks up the controller, while providing a depth of mastery for those who want to push the game’s mechanics to their limits”.
Perhaps the most popular of the list may be Broforce which brings the action stars of the 80s into an 8-bit world of chaos. While we didn’t know it at the time, this is the game that we always wanted as we cheered those action heroes on to victory. Publisher Devolver and developer Free Lives have teamed up to deliver part irreverent spoof and part loving homage to what are now classic movies and classic games. You might remember that the Melbourne-made Armello lost out to Grow Home in a recent PlayStation Plus vote.
It will be interesting to see which game proves the victor once the voting starts February 8.
