PS4 Exclusive Mad Max Content Shown Off in New Trailer
Remember the “green place” that Imperator Furiosa once called home in Mad Max: Fury Road, the safe haven to which she hopes to return with her friends? Instead they say entertaining things around it – like bringing up director George Miller’s eclectic filmography.
Mad Max launches on September 1st for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In a year not lacking for standout female performances, Theron’s Furiosa might not make the final shortlist like Weaver did for Aliens in 1987.
More importantly, it proved real action in movies and stellar cinematography was not yet completely buried by CGI-laden superhero franchises. For those who don’t know, this guy is a film legend, having not only created the iconic post-apocalyptic world, but also just recently having helmed this year’s summer blockbuster Mad Max: Fury Road.
It took Miller over a decade to birth “Fury Road“. It looks at once ancient (like something lifted straight out of an Egyptian tomb, at least to my untrained eyes) and modern, which combines to give the saga a timeless feel.
