PSG footballer Motta keen on Atletico
Reports in Spain and Paris today suggest that Atletico Madrid might be selling 29-year-old Guilherme Siqueira to Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of €9 million.
The Brazil-born star revealed he has discussed a move to Atletico, although Premier League interest is reportedly not dead.
“I need to depart PSG”. I’ve always been honest with the bosses at the club and I’ve now confirmed my ambition. “They know I want different motivations to proceed to maintain enjoying on the highest degree in my profession”, stated Motta, who stated he would converse to membership proprietor Nasser Al Khelaifi.
“I have something in my head and I know that it came out in the press”. I’ve spoken to the coach; he understands my emotions. “It’s not up to me, in the end it will be Nasser”.
It was also believed that Thaigo Motta, who had admitted his desire to return to Atletico Madrid last month, while also confirming his intention of ending his cycle with PSG, would be part of the deal in some way.
Atletico have already signed central defender Stefan Savic as well as strikers Luciano Vietto, Jackson Martinez and Yannick Carrasco while midfielder Mario Suarez has left the club.
