PSG Want To Complete Angel Di Maria Transfer From Manchester United

Paris Saint-Germain have made contact with Manchester United over signing Angel di Maria and received an encouraging reply.

French newspaper Le Parisien claimed earlier this week that Manchester United winger Angel di Maria had already agreed personal terms with PSG.

Since arriving from Real Madrid for a British record fee of £59.7million last summer, the 27-year-old has struggled in the Premier League. But at our level we aim for players who play for other big clubs. Di Maria is reportedly recovering after suffering a hamstring injury but he should flourish next season following some rest.

“We have more freedom, but it remains a hard project for us because we’re not alone in wanting him. Competition is very, very tough”.

The ex- Manchester United centre back, speaking toL’Equipe, said when asked if he was interested in Di Maria: ‘Yes.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has reiterated that in-demand Zlatan Ibrahimovic will stay at the club beyond this summer.

Di Maria’s disappointing first season in English football has led to suggestions that he will consider a move away from United although he insisted in an interview with Ole in June that he is determined to prove his worth at Old Trafford. “We must be proactive”, added the retired defender. “I like to deal with things”. If we want a strong institution, it’s necessary for the club to be more important than the players who represent it.
