PTI to return to NA from Monday
Following the commitment made in the memorandum of understanding which the PTI had signed with the ruling PML-N before the formation of an inquiry commission to investigate the alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections, Imran Khan, the party’s chairman, will attend National Assembly session on Monday (Aug 10).
Speaking to media persons after a parliamentary party’s meeting in Islamabad, Qureshi should that PTI would now play its role in the parliament. He said that PTI had left the assemblies for a reason and there is logic behind its decision to return, reported Dunya News.
I am going to lead the political campaign of PTI candidate Raja Amir Zaman for NA-19 bypolls scheduled to be held on August 16, Reham said while talking to media on Friday. He urged the participants to vote for those that help farmers and not to “waste” their votes.
Khan said, “It will be our compulsion to take to the streets if ECP failed to satisfy us on these points”.
Global warming is rapidly taking place; we have to decide as a nation to decide how to use water from melting glaciers, he warned. The institute, he explained, would be run by the members of farmers’ community.
He said the oil prices had fallen globally, asking whether the diesel prices in the country also came down at the same ration for farmers?
Other PTI leaders, including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jahangir Tareen, Chaudhry Sarwer also spoke on this occasion and criticised what they called the government’s anti-farmers policies.
