PUBG Mobile Now Available for iOS and Android Devices
PUBG Mobile has now officially landed in the US and the game is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
PUBG Mobile is free to play and is rated 17-plus. Within a week, Fortnite’s mobile version skyrocketed to the top of the iOS app store, nabbing almost $1.5 million in the process. Just like the Windows version, the PUBG Mobile still supports 100 players in a single map.
After the announcement that Fortnite was going mobile, comes the faithful mobile port of PUBG from Chinese internet giant Tencent.
Today, that barrier gets even lower, and PUBG Mobile is officially available in the United States through the Google Play Store. So, understanding that the Xbox One version of the game has surpassed five million players should be great news, but such is not the case.
A mobile version of Battlegrounds (affectionately referred to as PUBG by fans) launched for Android and iOS devices late Monday. It shouldn’t be a big deal if you’re on an uncapped wireless connection like us but if you’re on mobile data be warned.
PUBG provides players with a more realistic feel to the battle royale and the mobile update definitely widens the possible reach for the game.
“PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” is now available on mobile.
Game developer PUBG Corp. has recently announced that their survival shooter PUBG is now available on mobile platforms. While Fortnite requires iOS 11 and iPhones as old as the 6S, PUBG can run on iOS 9 and iPhones as old as the 6. To unlock some cosmetic item for your PUBG soldier, you can go through various in-game challenges for a slow shot at the loot box. Does it play well on mobile devices, and is it better than Fortnite Mobile?
