Punjab govt trying to influence NA-122 poll, PTI writes to ECP

On Sunday besides Lahore’s NA-122 polls, the by-election will also take place for PP-147 where the PTI has placed Shoaib Siddique as its candidate while Mian Mohsin Latif for contest on the PML-N ticket.

He claimed that Prime Minister Sharif Sharif’s government sold sugar to India and earned profit of Rs $ 60 million. He said PM Nawaz Sharif made false promises to the masses to end load-shedding.

In a clear warning, Khan said he would make it hard for the government to run its affairs if rigging was spotted during the by-polls.

On the other hand, PML-N leader Abid Sher Ali heavily criticized Imran Khan on the opening of party office in Samnabad in which he said that that he will send Imran Khan to mental hospital after winning the by-elections. He said that circular debt in former President Pervez Musharraf’s era was Rs. 200 billion, it has now risen to Rs. 600 billion.

“Nawaz Sharif is the third richest person in Pakistan, and yet is not even among the top 10,000 tax payers”, Khan told the media in Lahore on Thursday.
