Putin hails Donald Trump as ‘bright and talented’

Putin said that Trump’s comments to his domestic audience while on the campaign trail were not Russia’s concern, but added that he likes the Republican hopeful’s statements on Russian Federation. One of the two pilots was shot dead by Syrian rebels as he parachuted to the ground, while the other survived and was rescued.

“Turkey is not acting aggressively toward Russia’s military targets, and our main hope is not to escalate tensions”.

The president reiterated Russia’s position that the Syrian people – and not any outside government – should decide who Syria’s future leadership will be.

MOSCOW-President Vladimir Putin on Friday said the government may have to cut the federal budget as the price of oil falls, but he tried to assure Russians that the worst of the economic crisis is over.

He said that Russian Federation has responded by sending additional warplanes at a base in Syria and deploying the long-range S-400 air defense missile systems there, putting an end to what he said were regular violations of Syrian airspace by Turkish jets.

“We support their efforts in fighting ISIL with Russian air strikes”, he said.

The Russian president said a draft resolution on the Syrian conflict prepared by the United States at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) was in general acceptable to Russia.

“What did they think, that we’d run away?” “That we would remove all our forces?” he continued. “Pick up the phone and explain”, Putin said, according to TASS. I still think the time has not come yet.

Turkey appears to have already been avoiding Syrian airspace since the incident.

But he said Moscow never denied that “certain people” were there carrying out tasks “in the military sphere”.

But, a set of pictures is doing the rounds on social media suggesting the Russian president might have been alive for more than a century with his appearance nearly unchanged. “They are not involved in business or politics”, Putin said of his daughters, Maria and Katerina.

“We say that the action of the Turkish authorities in regard to our aircraft, which they downed, was not an act of unfriendliness, but an act of hostility”, Putin said. He did not specify what was asked but said Russian Federation had been ready to help.

But he avoided saying where they worked.

Former GOP president George W. Bush, upon meeting Putin in 2001, said, “I looked the man in the eye”, and concluded,”I was able to get a sense of his soul”. “There is no chance”.

“You know my position is that I resist in every possible way an increase in the retirement age….” He respects Putin a lot and likes the way he challenges the West and the worldwide order. “So the sooner we do this, the sooner we settle the conflict, the better”.

During the past two years, relations between the US and Russia have degenerated to their worst since the Cold War amid Putin’s support for separatists in Ukraine, Russian accusations of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation encroachment and disagreements over resolving Syria’s civil war.
