Putin says Trump accepts Russian Federation didn’t meddle in election

Trump and Putin met for more than two hours Friday afternoon, ending with an agreement on curbing violence in Syria.

In a press conference Saturday, Putin echoed Lavrov and said he believes Trump accepted the denial – but that it’d be better to ask him.

USA intelligence officials have said Russian Federation meddled in the White House race in which Trump upset Democrat Hillary Clinton. Neither Cohn, McMaster nor Mnuchin was present for the talks; only Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson represented the US.
