QiKU Q Terra launched in India
Speaking about the pretty looking handset, the most wonderful thing about Q Terra is its 13MP DUAL camera lens on the rear side with dual tone LED flash along with 0.1 second Fast Focus feature.
QiKU, a China-based smartphone company, announced its India entry with the Q Terra that’s competitively priced at Rs 21,999 in India and is available at a special price of Rs 19,999 for its “Gamechangers Fan Community” through Q Invites.
The Qiku Q Terra will be available in the country for Rs. 19,999 when purchased through a specific invite. The smartphone will be available from December 5 via an open sale similar to the OnePlus-like invite model.
The device, which sports a magnalium alloy uni-body, will feature a 6-inch IPS FHD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. Up front, is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an intelligent Beauty mode. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under QiKU’s custom UI called QiKU 360 OS. The smartphone is backed by a 3,700mAh battey. Along with that there is 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage which can be extended to up to 128GB via a microSD card. Both the camera sensors have 1080p video recording support at 30fps frame rate. One of the cameras captures the photo, while the other captures the shot in black and white.
QiKU claims that users will be able to uninstall any stock app other than Dialer and Messages.
The QiKU Q Terra is fuelled by a massive T-shaped 3700mAh battery with support for Quick Charging. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System. “With, QiKU Terra we are essentially offering the best in class experience at (affordable) price” said Qiku India CEO, Varun Sharma. This is Dual-SIM phone and supports Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM. Besides providing security features, with fingerprint sensor, you can receive the calls and also click the selfies. This device has dimensions of 157.6×79.8×8.6mm and its weight is 185 grams, which is quite bulky.
