QiKU To Launch Terra 808 & Terra 810 Smartphones In India

Among the two, the Terra 808 already went on sale in China and the first sale with 35,000 units were went over within eight seconds.

QiKU is the new entrant into the smartphone market which was established as a joint venture between Qihoo 360 and Coolpad.

Qiku in a press release revealed that it is set to launch two flagship smartphones – Qiku Terra 808 and Terra 810. There’s no word regarding the alleged pricing of the device in India, however the price of Qiku Terra models start at an equivalent of Rs 20,700 ($314) in China. It was announced on 26 August 2015. The device comes with two 13MP rear-facing cameras (Sony’s IMX278 sensor, f/1.8 aperture) which are located on the back of the phone with a f/1.8 aperture lens along with an 8MP front facing Camera.

The QiKU Terra 810 flaunts a 6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It’s powered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM.

In addition to the secure payments feature, the handsets also let users remotely disable the lost phones even if it isn’t connected to the Internet or have a registered SIM card. Also, users will be able to hide confidential documents on the device using a unique personal code. The new Terra 810 comes with an integrated fingerprint scanner on the back which is fueled by a 3,700mAh battery. While Q Terra 808 is equipped the same gorgeous outlook powered by snapdragon 808 with the memory of 3GB+16GB, and the same camera. It features an internal storage of 16GB. It also boasts two 13-megapixel Sony IMX278 shooters of aperture f/1.8 at the back along with an 8-megapixel front snapper.
