Quake strikes Western Greece, no damages

A powerful 6.1-magnitude quake struck near Greece’s Ionian Islands, causing no casualties or damage according to preliminary reports, police have said. The fire department said it was sending crews to Lefkada to assess the situation.
The quake has been reported by the US Geological Service with a depth approximately 10 km’s below the earth’s surface.
Officials say Sunday’s minor natural disaster was felt in Irving and Dallas, as temperatures were in the 50s with scattered rain.
Rain was falling at the time in struck.
However, there have been no reports of any damages or injuries so far.
Earthquakes are common in Greece, which is one of the world’s most seismically active areas, though serious injuries and deaths are rare.
