Quantico scores full season order from ABC
In tonight’s episode of Quantico, Alex learns about her father while it’s her mother who plays a key role in her future freedom. The order’s a testament to both the difficulty networks have had in establishing new properties in a season that’s met with particularly harsh reviews and the strong start Quantico has enjoyed-possibly because it’s another ABC drama, like Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder, fronted by a woman of color.
However, unlike most full season pick-ups, ABC’s order for Quantico isn’t for a back nine but for six more installments instead.
Season to date, “Quantico” ranks as Sunday’s No. 1 scripted broadcast show in Adults 18-49, improving the 9 o’clock hour for ABC by 44%. This past Sunday, the combination of increased the amounts of its lead-in, picked novice to Blood & Oil.
“Quantico” stars Priyanka Chopra as Alex Parrish, Josh Hopkins as Liam O’Connor, Aunjanue Ellis as Miranda Shaw, Jake McLaughlin as Ryan Booth, Tate Ellington as Simon Asher, Johanna Braddy as Shelby Wyatt, Graham Rogers as Caleb Haas and Yasmine Al Massri as Nimah Amin. All of them have secrets they’re not sharing, and in flash-forwards, we discover that at least one them is behind the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11.
Priyanka Chopra fronts the ABC drama about a class of Federal Bureau of Investigation agents at the Quantico training facility.
