Thursday we get even colder with highs in the lower 30s.
The work week wraps up with sunshine and temperatures in the upper 60s. Highs in the upper 60s to near 70 are likely by Tuesday. That looks like the best Mother Nature can do until next week. Otherwise, the rest of the day is drier and sunnier.
MONDAY: Our next cold front will be off to our northwest on Monday.
In the mountains a few clouds and passing flurry may linger for a while. Southwest wind 10 to 20 miles per hour.
So for Wednesday night, chilly air will make a comeback.
Look for highs Saturday afternoon in the low to perhaps mid 40s across Central New York. Clouds will increase between Midnight and daybreak.
Highs this afternoon are going to be more than 10 degrees cooler compared to yesterday afternoon. Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will be in the 40s with overnight lows near or below freezing. There could be a few showers in the afternoon.
– A few light rain or higher elevation snow showers. Rainfall totals will end up below a tenth of an inch.
Friday: Early morning showers, some clearing, turning breezy. Temperatures will stay warmer than average for this time of the year to close out the week. There are strong signs that the quiet weather pattern will last through the upcoming weekend as well.
Partly cloudy skies are forecast for Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures both days in the lower 70s.
