Quincy Acy reaches two-year deal with Kings
The Sacramento Kings have reached a two-year agreement with forward Quincy Acy, multiple sources have confirmed.
“We’re going going, back back to Sac!!”
The terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed, but the undrafted forward out of Wisconsin will now be in training camp with the Kings in an attempt to make the regular season roster.
This will be Acy’s second stint in Sacramento.
It’s probably not a far leap to say the Kings really began targeting Acy after Luc Mbah a Moute failed his physical earlier in the month, canceling the deal he had agreed to with the team.
In 68 games and 22 starts for New York, Acy, 24, thrived as a hustle player, averaging 5.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game. He’ll give Sacramento additional floor-spacing and depth in the frontcourt.
The Deerfield, Illinois, native was the first big of the Badgers’ bench this past season, averaging 4.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. Good enough to change their direction as a franchise?
