Raees vs Kaabil 2nd Day Collection, Second Day Income Report

Well, the results are out! On the first day, Raees seems to have got a slight lead over Kaabil.

Raees is an action thriller film directed by Rahul Dholakia. The numbers are especially important as Wednesday was a working day.

In Raees, Shah Rukh Khan plays a gangster from Gujarat while Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the cop. With around 80% occupancy being reported in cinemas on Wednesday, Raees has managed a blockbuster opening. The film is also releasing 700+ screen in USA, UAE-GCC, UK, Australia. Instead, Kaabil has more potential to grow as there is a lot of space. Until then, Kaabil overseas collection on Day 3 has generated an amount of Rs. 1.72 crores approximately. The advance bookings for 2nd day, tomorrow are already at par level being a national holiday of Republic Day of India.

With this figure Raees has broken record of FAN, which collected Rs 19.20 Crores on its opening day.

This earned an emotional reaction from Hrithik. Standing firmly in competition with Shahrukh’s Raees, the holiday witnesses a odd distribution of masses in nearly all the theatres, who were eagerly bokking tickets from either online or from windows. “But I feel that my success and fame has come under the evil eye due to which my film has not been able to release in Pakistan”, she said.
