“The Centre was not cooperating and was taking back all the projects brought by the Congress in the region”, he alleged.
Accusing Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi of telling “lies”, the BJP Friday asserted that prices of eatables were under check and that farmers are being given adequate protection by the Modi-Government.
On the sidelines of an interaction with state BJP’s media cell, Vijayvargiya said: “Anyone who takes the law in his or her hand is condemnable… whether it is someone who turns violent in support of anti-national elements or someone who is protesting against them”. “Congress wants to give opportunity to young Dalits to grow in Uttar Pradesh”, he said and asked party leaders to go to villages and bastis and “connect Dalits with the Congress” since “UP mein agle chunao ke baad Congress ki sarkaar banegi”.
Dalits have not got their proper share of progress and there are many things that they are yet to attain, he added. “Congress, which is searching for its ground, is attacking Modi government in a planned manner and making all efforts to repay favour for its support to ruling SP government’s support”, BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
According to the Centre, the manufacturing summit secured investment commitments worth Rs 15.2 lakh crore, with host state Maharashtra alone accounting for Rs 8 lakh crore. She did not promote young Dalit leadership when she became the Chief Minister. I know there are certain procedures to finalise a deal with companies. The government only issued press statements.
Gandhi said that “though people say that the party has been weakened in the state, but this is not the fact and they need to come to Rae Bareli and Amethi to see this”.
“After splurging a huge amount of money, the Fadnavis Government has signed deals with companies which have already turned bankrupt”.
“The governments that are formed in Uttar Pradesh belong to a particular section of society and this is why the state has lagged behind in the race of development”, he told presidents of gram sabhas here.
