Raiders Erase Deficit Against Bills for Another Comeback Win

The Bills are going to hang late into this game, but the Carr magic will pull out the win for Oakland. With the loss, the Bills fall to 6-6 on the season and are possibly looking at another season without playoff football, a streak that began with the most previous turn of the century.

Defensive tackle Stacy McGee (ankle) did not practice Wednesday and running back Latavius Murray (ankle) was limited.

Earlier in the fourth quarter he deflected a Taylor pass in the backfield, and Raiders safety Nate Allen intercepted the wobbly pass deep in Bills territory, setting up a Raiders touchdown.

Early in the 4th quarter, the Raiders took their first lead of the game as Carr hit Amari Cooper for a 33-yard TD.

Buffalo has not won a road game in December while still in playoff contention since 2004.

For more than half of Sunday’s affair in the Black Hole, though, the Raiders looked flat and disinterested, nearly as though they were overlooking a physical Bills team that entered the day leading the league in rushing.

The Bills then got the offense moving on the next drive only to lose the ball when Mack broke through for a strip sack and recovered the fumble.

This Sunday may be their toughest test of the year as they travel coast-to-coast to take on the 9-2 Oakland Raiders who have muddled about a bit the last three or four weeks but still managed to win their last five.

Oakland remained alone in first place in the West, one game ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs (9-3) with a showdown at Arrowhead Stadium set for Thursday night. Taylor was also sacked four times and threw an interception. The Bills have just one win against a team with a winning record this season. Following Gilislee’s touchdown run, Oakland scored 29 unanswered points, pulling off their biggest comeback in the past 16 years according to ESPN.

-With three rushing touchdowns, the Bills now have 23 rushing touchdowns in 2016 and the total is the third-highest in team history – highest total since 1975 (26).

Buffalo’s first scoring drive in the third quarter was a quick one, due in large part to a 54-yard run from LeSean McCoy.
