Rain chance increases into Monday
Sunday in particular featured delightful weather.
Monday: Mostly sunny and warmer yet. We’ll be in the upper-50s.
Wednesday will likely see less rain (less than a tenth of an inch expected) and winds will be much calmer.
Monday: Sunny and pleasant.
Clouds will continue to thicken across the Garden State Monday night.
Wind should keep frost from becoming widespread but if you have sensitive plants you may still choose to cover them tonight.
Most of Tuesday looks OK.
Today: Mostly cloudy and not as warm. Cloudy skies take over Sunday afternoon as our next system edges closer to the OH and Tennessee Valley. At night, cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain overnight. There might be just enough cold air moving in late Thursday night to see some snow showers mixed with any light rain. No severe weather is expected.
A front lifting into northern Florida today will allow our atmosphere to remain juiced up and ready to produce rain. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Then, it’s back to sunshine!
Forecasters said football fans should also expect cloudy skies and a high in the mid-50s on Saturday.
A second front will make its rounds by Friday bringing with it showers and breezy, cool air.
Wednesday, April 18: High: 42. Looking good, for now! At night, partly cloudy with a low of 58. “But I think we’ll be OK” by game time.
