Rain chances return Monday, Tuesday, but no severe weather expected

The weather service said Omaha has officially recorded 2.81 inches of rainfall this month through Thursday at Eppley Airfield, .12 of an inch above normal. The air will feel comfortable with highs ranging from the 60s and the beaches to the lower 70s inland.

Scattered showers and storms on Monday late morning into afternoon will move eastward during the day due to a southwest wind. Low: 70. High: 82. Scattered showers are possible on Tuesday afternoon, however they will be few and far between.
