Rainbow Six Siege Open Beta Postponed
“We apologise for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority”. A fix is now under test and will be deployed within the next few hours. The game now runs at 900p on Playstation 4, and 720p on Xbox One, but Ubisoft have hinted that small improvements may arrive later down the line.
They say we should expect an update on the status at 6PM EST. This comes from multiple reports in the closed beta that the servers are plagued with severe issues in matchmaking, and giving an altogether unsatisfactory experience to players.
The PC version of Rainbow Six Siege will vary between 720p and 1080p depending on the power of your setup.
Let’s hope Ubisoft can get the game’s problems sorted out before release day, with the beta going up sooner rather than later. Gamers have also seen major issues with Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Batman: Arkham Knight among many others. Three game modes will be available which include two Pvp modes – Bomb and Secure, with a PvE Disarm Bomb mode which can be played by 1-5 players who must take out terrorist units.
The Rainbow Six Siege release date is December 1st on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Operators and equipment unlocked from previous betas will not be usable throughout the open beta. If you purchase digitally the Rainbow Six Siege release time will be 12:01 AM Eastern, but as early as 9:01PM Pacific on November 3rd.
