Rainbow Six Siege PC Requirements Detailed, 47 GB Space Recommended
For the first time in a Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six game, players will engage in sieges, a new style of assault where enemies have the means to transform their environments into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy’s position. If any of you are planning on picking it up, then you will need to ensure you have the hardware to run it properly, so here are the full minimum and recommended system requirements for the game.
The minimum system requirements include an Intel Core i3 560 clocked at 3.3 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 clocked at 3 GHz with 6 GB RAM. As such, you’ll have to make sure that you have at least a typical 256-512kbps broadband internet connection.
On the recommended side, users will want an Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8120 processor, 8GB of RAM and a GTX 670 or a Radeon HD 7970. An Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5870 or an equivalent DirectX 11 card with 1 GB of VRAM is also required.
While this November may have most of us raiding tombs and surviving Wasteland for the remainder of the year, it might be easy to forget that Rainbow Six: Siege will be knocking on our doors.
Here’s what you need to know about the specs for the game.
The tactical shooter will also be offered on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on December 1. A few months back it confirmed that the release date for Rainbow Six Siege had been pushed back because more work had to be done.
