Rainbow Six Siege’s free update now available
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege gives players unprecedented control over their ability to fortify their position by reinforcing walls and floors, using barbed wire and deployable shields, laying mines and more, or to breach the enemies’ position using observation drones, setting charges, rappelling and more. A new set of Seasonal Weapon Skins have also been included in the “Operation Black Ice” DLC, as can be seen on the content’s official page on the game’s website.
Check out the trailer below.
Operation Black Ice adds some fresh content to Siege. Were excited to partner with ESL, one of the biggest names in esports, to deliver a league for Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Siege fans to compete and enjoy the game they love.. Season Pass holders get immediate access to all DLC operators.
The yacht was also revealed to be a luxury liner that ran aground in Baffin Bay, which is off the coast of Baffin Island, Nunavut. Rainbow has been sent to secure the stranded vessel as an unidentified submarine has docked near the vessel.
The two new Operators, meanwhile, are Buck and Frost, characters that first leaked online last month.
The game is due to have three more operator releases throughout the year, with two more United States operators, two Brazilian operators, and two Japanese operators. Attackers will now be able to pick individual spawn points in Ranked Mode, instead of voting on one for the whole team, and Defenders will be forced to use new objective points instead of sticking to the same winning strategy over and over. Ubisoft explains that, “The Spectator Camera allows players to create custom 5v5 multiplayer games, with an 11th player observing the match in real time”. All this content will be available for free for everyone, but Season Pass holders will have these new operators unlocked automatically, while everyone else will have to unlock them via in-game currency.
