Rainbow Skies and Rainbow Moon confirmed to launch in 2016 for PS4
It’s been so long, in fact, that the developer behind it has now decided to bring the release to the PlayStation 4 next year, and it’ll apparently boast cross-save functionality between the PS4, PS3, and Vita.
Rainbow Moon was released for PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network in 2012 and for PS Vita in 2013.
Eastasiasoft Limited and development partner SideQuest Studios have announced that their upcoming role-playing game, Rainbow Skies, and their previous bestseller, Rainbow Moon, are now in development for the PlayStation 4. “The complex background story consists of multiple, interwoven narratives, told through easy to read dialogue that is entertaining and, in the cases of certain character, amusing too!”
There will even be a more complex dialogue system, as four characters can now speak simultaneously.
New features include monster taming and combining skill attacks and it has ten times the environments and content of Rainbow Moon. Additionally, we get new animations, emoticons and conversation-specific icons, along with short cut-scenes they’re calling “action clips”.
Pukropski says the game was created after the team received and learned from a lot of feedback that players offered for “Rainbow Moon“, which will also be re-released “sometime” in 2016.
SideQuest CEO Marcus Pukropski went on that “Rainbow Moon” fans who have been requesting for an ” increased emphasis on storytelling” will be “pleased” on its successor and gave an insight on “Rainbow Skies” gameplay. Sound off your comments below!
