Ramona Singer of Real Housewives of New York City Faces a Demotion to Recurring Role
Oh! Ramona Singer has been demoted to recurring role in the popular show Real Housewives of New York City or RHONY. Her demotion is for the show’s upcoming seventh season.

Ramona Singer aged 57 is one of the shows popular faces. She has been enjoying the role of a principal cast member of the show RHONY since 2008. She has been involved with the show since its premiere of its first season that has taken place in March 2008.
The news of Ramona’s demotion in the show has been exclusively revealed by the popular Us Weekly. As per an insider the star will face demotion to a recurring role in for the show’s next season, its seventh season. For the cause of her demotion the insider adds, “[When] Ramona carried the show, that is why ratings plummeted, they think.” The source also has said that the soaring paycheck of Ramona that is totaling near to $600,000 per season has been one of the factors in Ramona’s demotion.
Demotions of Cast Members in RHONY
Ramona’s demotion is not the only case of demotion in RHONY. But several other members including some core members also faced such demotions. LuAnn de Lesseps has also experienced such situations. She was once the main cast member of the show and then she has been limited to become RHONY’s a recurring friend. Kathy Wakile of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”, Camille Grammer of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”,and Jeana Keoug of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” have also faced such situations.
The insider told to Us Weekly that “Bravo is casting the show around Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill.” As per Us Weekly, Aviva Drescher who has been casted in the 5th and 6th seasons of RHONY has been fired from the program of Bravo.
