Rams considering desperate offseason run at Peyton Manning

“I think that has been pretty consistent throughout my career, but I think you have to be able to adjust based on who you’re playing with, based on the head coach that you’re playing for, the system that you’re in….” The Denver Broncos quarterback has acknowledged he is thinking about retirement, but if he decides he wants to play in 2016, at least one team could be interested.
With all of that said, it seems unlikely that this will happen, as the most likely result still seems to be Manning retiring. “There will be competition when we come back, and I think we have a promising young talent in Sean (Mannion) that will be in the mix as well”. However, Denver may be willing to trade him.
“I’m sure it’s going to be just devastating to all their viewers”, Manning quipped. He has thrown more interceptions in previous seasons, but never in so few games. The Rams would use Manning to teach Nick Foles, like Manning did Brock Osweiler for the Broncos.
Paul says the race storyline during Super Bowl talk needs to go away. Should Peyton move on from the Broncos, he could be a great option for the Rams and would be a terrific mentor to their future quarterback. Manning can’t be much worse than the other guys the Rams trotted out to play QB in their final season in St. Louis.
