Rams Fans in LA Supporting Team at Cowboys Practice
FOX2 is the Home of the Rams, and Sports Director Martin Kilcoyne is in Southern California for the Rams scrimmage with the Dallas Cowboys.

Most of the fans in line were wearing Rams apparel or had the former Los Angeles team’s logo on their cars.
“This is a unique opportunity for Rams fans to show their support”, Batement said.
While conspiracy theorists believe something is afoot, Rams coach Jeff Fisher has said since June the Cowboys simply provided the best fit. Although they went through long stretches of poor play, they made generations of fans with their distinctive uniforms, star players and tradition. While his brothers gave up on the team after its move to the Midwest, Soto stayed faithful to the franchise that has been in his family’s life since he gave a blue-and-white helmet to his son as a child.
Kroenke, the billionaire who has a home in Malibu, rarely attends camp in Missouri.
“I’ve said this numerous times, we felt like our team was in a position needing some additional experience on the practice field (against another squad)”, Fisher said over the weekend, via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. also turned out for the Rams’ Oxnard trip. Kroenke already has spent many millions on his Hollywood Park site, and stadium construction already may have begun. Being [there] with those guys was pretty surreal for me but had no idea he was in camp and so it’s pretty special when you think of the big picture of where he came from, where he’s at and you never know who you’re going to meet and the impression you’re going to make.
And so in all, the Rams had a good first session with the Cowboys, using the opportunity to improve in many respects.
“I love St. Louis”, Butts said. Roman Gabriel, Jack Snow, the Fearsome Foursome. “They’re still Rams fans”. There were problems associated with the crowds last year when the Oakland Raiders came to Oxnard to practice against the Cowboys.
Without definitely picking a side in the three-team derby for Los Angeles, Jones realizes the Rams matter greatly in L.A. and beyond. There were only a couple of very brief “scuffles”, if you’d even call them that.
“What I do think is (the Rams) have such a traditional visibility and a traditional following here in Southern California”, Jones said. “It’s a good thing for the NFL to have these teams that have the qualifications they have to think about this Los Angeles market”.
