Rand Paul Is Live-Streaming His Entire Day Today
Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to end his 2016 GOP presidential campaign.
The Paul campaign is banking on his libertarian message – criticizing the imprisonment of people for non-violent drug crimes, avoiding military action not directly related to USA security and lowering the cost of higher education – resonating with college students. The Senator is buried in the polls and on the cusp of missing the cut for the next Republican presidential debate.
As we pointed out in May, Paul surely could use someone to proofread his campaign items and descriptions. “I think it shows the uniqueness of my candidacy, that I’m the one saying I’m not sending our sons and daughters back into Iraq”, said Rand Paul.
“Was it all just the White Sox playing during the movie, or…was Honus Wagner in the game?” he asked, after sitting in the bleachers where Kevin Costner watched Shoeless Joe Jackson and his teammates play ball. I read something recently about how in nature, people only pay attention to others with the same level of interest that journalists observe their subjects when they’re in love. If the idea is to show what life is like on the campaign trail, why not show it? Kent Sorenson had committed to backing Michele Bachmann’s presidential campaign in the run-up to the 2012 Iowa caucuses.
As raw as Periscope feeds and Vine clips claim to be, Schnack pointed out there’s still a lot of production going on.
Erickson also described how a combination of poor spending, staff turmoil and an non-cohesive strategy led Paul’s campaign to its current situation. “This is simply the fulfillment of the type of campaign he wants to run”.
“I’m very happy with the stream so far”, Vincent Harris, Paul’s media guru.
You can check out the stream for yourself at Rand Paul’s website.
“War should be the last resort, not the first resort”, Paul said.
“What other Republican can get 500 students here?” he said after a rally was at the University of Iowa Monday evening for a rally with a crowd he estimated at 500.
Paul insisted that he didn’t know anything about the alleged secret payments, and U.S. Department of Justice prosecutor Richard Pilger portrayed Paul as a victim who was unaware of the plot, according to The Des Moines Register.
