“For us, it’s important to start well because the confidence grows and the link between me and the squad grows”. “He never gives up and I love this kind of player“, the 63-year-old Italian was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. “Now this is the right moment for the others to show their strengths, ‘ Ranieri, dubbed the ‘Tinkerman” during his first stint in England with Chelsea, told Leicester’s website.
“I want to improve him in the offensive line”.
“But it is important”.
‘Italy is a tactical land and I want to blend their skill with my tactical mind.
It’s no surprise that Ranieri is reluctant to even consider parting with the 24-year-old, considering Mahrez is now top of the Premier League’s scoring charts and Leicester sit in second place in the early stages of the season.
“It is important to start well and then you don’t know what could happen”.
And former Chelsea boss Ranieri has said that there is no figure that would convince Leicester to sell him, adding that he is working hard to help the former Le Havre man become a better player.
Ranieri revealed: “Now I change everything, now I am the true Tinkerman”.
“A lot of people dismiss the cups these days but unfairly so”.
“Everyone is staying. We don’t need the money”.
“The chance to play at Wembley is there and it is a good opportunity for us to get it on our CV”.
