Ranveer, Deepika-starrer Bajirao Mastani wins big at Filmfare Awards

The Filmfare Awards 2016 were conducted last night where rumoured couple Ranveer “Bajirao” Singh and Deepika “Mastani” Padukone walked away with the Best Actor and Actress awards respectively. The film won Best Film, while its team swept up the rest of the coveted awards.

Priyanka Chopra’s win of the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) for Bajirao Mastani made it a sweet victory for the Bajirao Mastani team.

Anil Kapoor, on the other hand, won the same title for his flick ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. Here we bring for you the complete list of Britannia Filmfare Awards winners.

While the period spectacle took the Best Actor, Best Film and Best Director categories, Shoojit Sircar’s comedy-drama won Best Actor (female) and several critics awards.

Arijit Singh lifted the Best Playback Singer (Male) Award for his song “Sooraj dooba” in the film “Roy”, and the Best Playback Singer (Female) went to Shreya Ghoshal for the track “Deewani mastani” in the film “Bajirao Mastani”.

Our favourite actress Deepika Padukone won the Best Actress Award at the Filmfare Awards 2016.
