Rapper Drake Is Opening a Restaurant in His Hometown City Toronto
Lee, Lee’s two sons Kai and Levi, as well as Drake’s friend and OVO member Angelo “Gelo” Ferraro, officially launched King St. W.’s Fring’s restaurant on Monday.
After dropping a collaborative album with Future, Drake has embarked on another joint venture.
Rumoured couple, rapper, Drake and tennis champion, Serena Williams, spent some quality time together with Drake’s mum at his restaurant opening in Canada.
The menu and official opening date have not fully been confirmed, Lee says, but like his other restaurants in Toronto, it will have some Asian influences.
According to eTalk, Drake drove himself to the event in a Rolls Royce at around 8 p.m. and then proceeded to DJ for the crowd before celebrating with his mother Sandi and other members of his family.
“We haven’t really figured it out yet”.
Guests included Jada Pinkett Smith and her son Jaden Smith, although “Big Willie” Will Smith wasn’t mentioned.
Frings – the dish, not the restaurant – belongs to another Canadian staple: A serving of half-fries, half onion rings found at Harvey’s.
“So excited for the opening of Fring’s in Toronto!”
“Anything that Drake supports – especially when it has anything to do with Toronto – it’s incredible what he’s done for the city”, he said.
