Rapper King Louie Has Been Shot

In a subsequent post, King Louie wished his fans and followers a Merry Christmas.

After being shot on Wednesday, King Louie reportedly was “awake and talking” within hours after being shot in his head according to his management team. Luckily, the bullet just grazed his head and he’s able to speak, Chicago Sun-Times reporter Sam Charles tweeted.

Police also confirmed that the 28-year-old was in stable condition having been transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, according to Fox 32 News. No motive for the attack is known at this time.

“I wanna send thanks to everyone for their prayers & support!” the Chicago rapper writes on the social networking site.

Other details about the shooting were not made immediately available.

Two men died and six people, including Chicago rapper King Louie, were hurt in shootings Wednesday and Thursday, police said.

Louie was shot yesterday in the Ashburn section of the city while inside his auto around 3:30 pm local time. “I was caring about the Drillinois part; I was caring about the drill movement”. He has collaborated with Kanye West, Chief Keef, and Lil Herb. On the same day the film was released, King Louie released a song that cursed Spike Lee in the title.
