Rapper Travi$ Scott arrested at Lollapalooza during show
Rising rapper Travi$ Scott was arrested August 1 at Lollapalooza due to “disorderly conduct”, authorities said to ABC7.
To recap, Scott asked his fans to ignore security guards, jump the barricade and rush the stage during his set.
And this picture gives a glimpse of the aftermath, which looks to have included dozens of fans joining Travis onstage.
No fans were injured and the situation was quickly handled by security, said Stratton. “The performer fled the scene and was taken into custody a short while later”.
Scott and one fan were each charged with disorderly conduct.
Lollapalooza has been taking place all weekend in Chicago.
The rapper, whose real name is Jacques Webster, was arrested Saturday on the second day of the three-day music festival in downtown Chicago. She could not say what the arrests, citations and transports were for. After coming on stage about 30 minutes past his scheduled start time, the rapper told the crowd to jump the barricade.
