Raptors at LA Clippers: Sunday game preview
Jordan Clarkson, Lakers fans’ other prayer for the future, is totaling two dimes a contest.
It may be goodbye Kobe Bryant and hello Russell Westbrook for the Los Angeles Lakes come next season if the National Basketball Association trade rumors were true.
Since the beginning of the year there have been speculations that Oklahoma City Thunders’ ace player Russell Westbrook may be traded to the LA Lakers.
“It could”, Scott said of Bryant’s offensive aggression and any affect on the team, “but first of all, he’s had 20 years of experience in this league”.
On Sunday, Scott said he wanted Bryant to facilitate more. However, as reported, he only managed 6 of 19 field shots and only 2 of 10 from the three-point range, equating to a 30 percent and 20 percent performance, respectively. Yet, Bryant is averaging the most minutes on the team right now, and this needs to change. In four of those 11 games, he has watched the fourth quarter from the bench.
On the other hand, the Lakers see themselves once again at the bottom of the Pacific Division in the West, where the defending champions Golden State Warriors are on top, with the Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Clippers and Sacramento Kings all above them at the moment. Like I told him, it’s a lack of focus. There may be something to that.
Back in April though, Sports World Report cited that Westbrook has been not been entertaining the idea of the trade and was just focused on his play for the Oklahoma City Thunders this year. Scott has gone against his word a few times, but with the 17-time All-Star minute load still around 31 minutes expect his time on the floor to remain in some fluctuation.
“You get in these ruts as a team, whether it’s at the beginning of the season, the middle of the season or at the end of the season”, Redick said.
The game may have, and quite likely was, the final time the Raptors will face the Lakers at Staples with Kobe Bryant in the lineup.
It’s interesting Randle pops up as one of the talking points surrounding a two-win team considering the fact he’s one of the lone bright spots.
There is no doubt that Russell can shoot.
The Los Angeles Clippers average 23.0 three point attempts per game and are 2-3 when attempting at least 25 in a game. Defenders had to play up to defend his shot, so he would exploit those who pressured him defensively off the dribble and attacked the paint with his great athleticism.
Toronto forward added 20 points and eight rebounds, and point guard contributed 13 points, 10 assists and three steals as Raptors beat the Clippers for the third straight time, all by double-digit margins.

It’s not even just that Kobe’s been bad, but he’s been awful.
The longer this lasts, the more it will be to the advantage of Russell.
He’s learning on the job. It will also provide a great opportunity to get an early look at the London-bound Toronto Raptors, who take on the Orlando Magic at The O2 on 14 January as part of National Basketball Association Global Games 2016. If you have him on your roster, be patient. He can take 22 shots a game (which he did in their most recent loss) and make just six of them and it’ll be fine. This may be the ideal time to play “Let’s Make A Deal”.
