Ravens coach John Harbaugh compares training camp to childbirth
“Just get a feel for it, get a couple hits in and what not”, Murray said.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said the Ravens became a better team for their three joint practices with the Philadelphia Eagles, the opponents for Saturday’s preseason game at Lincoln Financial Field.
Harbaugh said the three days of work were a “success”, and suggested more joint practices could be in the future.
“I don’t assume it modifications something”, Harbaugh stated. A great man and a great mentor. These joint practices will present different looks, formations, personnel and the chance to huddle. “We’ll have the guys in there that are healthy”. You’ve got Joe Flacco and Steve Smith out there. We’ll have to wait and see if the Ravens are prepared to face another daunting schedule as they will try to make it seven playoff appearances in eight seasons.
“People used to sit in the trees and watch us”. “At the end of the day, it’s about lining up against someone else”.
That said, we’ve put together a slideshow to outline some of the tough schedules the Ravens have faced in the past, including the one they’re now about to face. I don’t know if they still do that around here.
But Eagles coach Chip Kelly has his own, less-hyped Baltimore connection.
Fran Duffy asked Austin about the intricacies of the go route as part of this week’s Eagle Eye in the Sky podcast. “But he’s not budged one bit from what he thinks is right and proper and sticks to it, and that’s what you’ve got to do”.
“You could wide and slip if he’s playing inside of you”. Maybe it’s like childbirth – it’s not so bad after you have your kid…But when you’re going through it it’s really rough.
