RAW involved in disrupting peace in Karachi, Balochistan: Sartaj Aziz
Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security, Sartaj Aziz has said the tension between India and Pakistan posed a danger to the regional peace, urging the global community to take notice of the situation.
Aziz said the dossier alleging Indian involvement in subversive activities in Pakistan, which was given to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon last month, would also be shared with other friendly countries.
He said RAW is involved in terrorist and anti-Pakistan activities in Karachi, tribal areas and Balochistan.
“A number of other issues would also be discussed between the United States president and Sharif”, Dawn quoted Aziz as saying on Monday.
“Pakistan has tried to project itself as the victim of intimidation by India, and, I think, this is where Indian diplomacy has to be alert to ensure that Pakistan doesn’t get a sympathetic response”.
In a reply to a question, Advisor said that security of nuclear assets is Pakistan’s own issue and they will never compromise on minimum nuclear deterrence, Pakistan’s nuclear policy.
The adviser said Pakistani High Commissioner is providing every possible facility to the Samjhauta Express passengers whereas Indian foreign minister has been contacted regarding issue of visas for Pakistanis.
