Villa are hopeful of completing the signing later this week, and Adebayor is set to undergo the medical and hold further discussions with Villa about the move on Wednesday. It’s very likely that Spurs will be subsidizing part of Adebayor’s weekly wages as part of the loan deal, since his £100k/week salary is most likely outside the pay structure of Villa, but this detail has not been confirmed. I can only talk for myself, but I am hoping there is because when Adebayor wants to play he is extremely effective.
