‘Real Housewives’ star due to be released from prison
The Real Housewives of New Jersey reality star officially arrived safely at her Towaco house after departing the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn. upon discharge at 5:01 a.m. Wednesday. She had spent just under a year in prison after getting sentenced to 15 months.
Giudice will remain on home confinement until February 5.
Police expect autopsy results to be released Wednesday in the death of a woman who refused to leave a Florida hospital when doctors discharged her and collapsed when police arrested and forcibly removed her. A cookbook author, Giudice has also co-authored “Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again”, along with People magazine staff writer K.C. Baker.
Now that she’s home, her husband will begin serving a 41-month sentence soon.
At least Teresa got to learn some “jail talk” along the way, her husband said, and made some new friends.
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice attends the Just Dance with Boy Meets Girl by Stacy Igel fashion show during Style360 Spring 2014 at Metropolitan Pavilion on September 12, 2013 in New York City.
“Joe has told me that one thousand percent he was not behind the wheel of a vehicle and has not been since his license was suspended, number one”, Giudice’s attorney James Leonard told NJ Advance Media.
She is “beyond excited to finally see her family”.
Not to mention, Joe’s driving record has 39 suspensions on it. Good lord!
We have to wonder what Teresa’s first days back at home will be like, and how the Giudice clan will celebrate now that they have their matriarch back home.
Her sentence was handed down that October.
