‘Real Housewives’ Star’s Husband Apologizes “Deeply” for Ashley Madison Account
Josh Taekman has been outed.
The Ashley Madison leak has been pretty quick about who were in committed Christian-based relationships, but now, a couple famous for a different brand of reality television is facing the hack’s wrath.
According to the Daily Mail, the husband of Real Housewives of New York City star Kristen Taekman signed up for an account with Ashley Madison, which is basically a platform for extramarital affairs.
Daily Mail points out that Josh – or the user posing as Josh – stopped using Ashley Madison around the same time that the Taekmans joined “RHONY“. When first confronted about the leak, Josh denied any involvement with the site. There’s not a shot in hell that I’m a subscriber.
Josh’s statement comes after it emerged Jersey Shore star Snooki’s husband Jionni LaValle also had an email account associated with the website which specialises in setting up married people for affairs. “I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or ache I have brought to my wife and family”, he told People magazine. They said that they burst into laughter and thought if somebody has fraudulently used his name and number.
We’ve reached out to Kristen’s rep to see if she had her own statement, but haven’t heard back.
Josh Taekman and his wife have been married for 10 years and share two children.
