‘Real Housewives’ star set to be released
“Joe has told me that one thousand percent he was not behind the wheel of a vehicle and has not been since his license was suspended, number one”, Giudice’s attorney James Leonard told NJ Advance Media.
Teresa Giudice, 41, arrives at the Federal Court in Newark, New Jersey, March 4, 2014. In the intimate photos, shared by the Giudice family, of the moment Teresa was welcomed home, the reality star is seen hugging and kissing her girls as a huge smile spreads across her face. Gossip Cop will update as we receive more information about Giudice’s release and her first few hours, once again, as a free woman.
Teresa Giudice (43) has been released from prison after serving 11 months for an alleged bankruptcy fraud conviction.
She also had an early Christmas present waiting for her: a brand new black Lexus SUV with a big red bow was waiting in the driveway when she pulled up. She has served her time and surely learned something from the experience over the past year.
Gia, one of Giudice’s four daughters, tweeted “welcome back”.
The mom of four – who was put behind bars last January for fraud charges – then joined Leonard Jr.as they made their way to her Franklin Lakes mansion in New Jersey.
“Merry Christmas. Happy New Year…all of you should go be with your families and your loved ones, ‘” he quoted her as saying.
Giudice will be on home confinement until February. She hasn’t been released from prison and that won’t happen until December 23. They admitted hiding assets from bankruptcy creditors and submitting phony loan applications to get about $5 million in mortgages and construction loans. And, as any good Housewife (and Sizzle Tan star) would do, her post-prison plans include at-home beautifying to get back to her Bravo reunion special glam standards.
