‘Real Housewives’ star Teresa Giudice freed from prison in Connecticut
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice will be home for Christmas after her release from federal prison.
A source close to the 43-year-old said, “She is thrilled that she is finally going home”. He will be beginning a 41-month prison sentence of his own stemming from bankruptcy fraud in March, but they will have some time together on the outside before then.
Teresa’s lawyer, James Leonard Jr., said in a press conference that the reunion was a very private, emotional moment, adding, “She just wants to spend the holidays with her family just like everyone else”.

While in prison, Giudice was able to have socialize with her family via visits, phone calls and emails.
In another photo Teresa could also be seen holding on tightly to her husband Joe Giudice, who, like his wife, seemed unable to contain his emotions as he was seen smiling from ear to ear. However, she will not be permitted to leave her New Jersey home, as she is now finishing the remainder of her sentence on house arrest.
Bravo reportedly can’t wait to film Teresa’s life outside of prison as she returns to her daily routine, however, cameras were prohibited from taping her walking out of jail, according to TMZ. She has missed them all so much while she was in prison.
Both Giudices admitted a year ago to hiding hundreds of thousands of dollars in income and assets, lying to get loans and mortgages, and filing bogus bankruptcy documents.
Teresa Giudice is a free woman. The staggered sentences of the couple were allowed by the judge in consideration of the four children of Joe and Teresa Giudice.
