‘Real Housewives’ star Teresa Giudice freed from prison in CT
The reality TV queen was photographed leaving the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut after being released in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
After nearly 12 months behind bars, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was released from prison this morning, according to People.
“She is home and they are rolling”, the insider said. Now hopefully she can move on and be a better person for it.
The 36-year-old tweeted about her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star being released from prison on Wednesday, writing, “With Christmas comes miracles”.
When she got home around 7:30 a.m., she was greeted by homemade “We Missed You”-type signs on the front door, E!”
Just before being sprung, Teresa fixed herself up in the ladies room at the prison, where she did her makeup, hair, and traded her jumpsuit for a nice set of clothes. However, she will not be permitted to leave her New Jersey home, as she is now finishing the remainder of her sentence on house arrest.
A black Lexus SUV with a red bow on top was waiting in the driveway when she arrived. Teresa and husband Joe Giudice have pleaded guilty to multiple federal fraud changes in March 2014. Even when she wasn’t able to see her girls physically though, Teresa made sure she found other ways to show them love and support.
Joe wasn’t the only member of the family celebrating Teresa’s return with gifts and kind gestures.
Giudice, 43, and the second highest paid star in the Bravo “Housewives” franchise, apparently did some primping in a prison bathroom, using make-up products purchased from the prison commissary, People and TMZ reported. The book is scheduled to be released on February 9.
