Reality TV’s Kim Kardashian gives birth to boy

It has been confirmed this evening that superstar couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have welcomed their second child – their first son – to the world.

The star took to Instagram just hours ago to share her growing baby bump, and proclaimed that she was “Ready whenever you are”, with a selfie of her belly.

Another posted: “was I the only one who assumed storm desmond was the name of kim kardashian and kanye west’s new baby?”. Kardashian reportedly experienced health complications for the second time around as well; she moved up her delivery date after a scare with gestational diabetes, according to Us Weekly.

The little man wasn’t due until closer to Christmas, but, following a procedure to have the baby turned from the breech position, it was thought Kim might go into labour early.

But if choosing a name this time around is anything like it was when the couple picked out daughter North’s name, we be getting a reveal anytime soon. “Whoa! Can we just slow down and have number two?” (Though a recent KUWTK clip reveals she has thought about a possible third baby).

“Kim also had three surgeries to fix her uterus”, a source close to the star told People. Naturally, it was “soooooo painful” and “probably more painful than childbirth”.

Not to fear, the mum to two-year-old North West is in the clear for now. “A few weeks to go and 60 pounds up!” she wrote.

The procedure was a risky one: Kardashian West said it could have made her water break or her baby’s heart rate drop. “I was prepared for it all!” she said. On December 3, in a blog post on her personal site, Kim wrote that she’s feeling “fat as f-k”.
