Red Wings, Penguins to play OT hockey – tied or not
The Red Wings were 1-for-4 on the power play and Chicago was 1-for-6. Brad Richards had three assists, and Jakub Kindl and Niklas Kronwall each had two assists.

Jimmy Howard allowed three goals on 21 shots in almost 30 minutes before Tom McCollum gave up two goals on 16 shots. With their chance to do better at home, Detroit will have their second group of players ready to take on the brute of Chicago’s main offense.
