Reese Witherspoon is Totally Down for ‘Sweet Home Alabama 2’
Witherspoon hosted a Facebook Live chat on Thursday (Aug. 25, 2016) in which she discussed the prospect of Legally Blonde getting a third installment. During the session, the actress said, “I loved making Legally Blonde, because I love pink!”
Reese Witherspoon said she’s ready for more “Legally Blonde” and “Sweet Home Alabama” movies. I also loved making “Legally Blonde“, because I love pink! We are not making a sequel that I know of, but if Disney wants to call me, I would happily make a Sweet Home Alabama 2!’
“I got to wear all the wonderful costumes, and I got to work with a dog every day”.
“He was just really sweet!”
With the way the entertainment biz is reviving any successful property they can get their hands on, we think Legally Blonde 3 is bound to happen sooner or later! Here’s what she had to say about a possible sequel storyline previous year.
Following the release of Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde in 2003, there had been little talk of another sequel until past year when Witherspoon said writers had come up with some ideas.
“Speaking about the nearly equally beloved 2002 rom com Sweet Home Alabama, the blonde stunner had less positive prospects for a sequel, but said, “‘I love Sweet Home Alabama! “I love dogs!” she added.
Previous year on Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe, Witherspoon said. “And I think it’d be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office, like president!”
Reese Witherspoon is happy, and happy people make sequels.
Currently, Reese Witherspoon is working on the HBO comedy series Big Little Lies, which is scheduled to premiere later in the 2017 season.
