Reid Says Comey May Have Broken Law with Timing of E-Mail Probe

The newly discovered emails were on a device seized during a sexting investigation of disgraced former NY congressman, Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of Huma Abedin, one of Clinton’s closest aides.

Devices belonging to her and Anthony Weiner, a former high-flying congressman, were seized in an investigation into whether he sent sexually explicit emails to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.

“It was just incomprehensible when the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation came out and literally indicted Hillary Clinton in the press and then said we’re not recommending that she be indicted”.

Weiner is married to top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, and a laptop connected to the sexting case was purportedly shared by the couple. He adds that Trump has “made it clear we’ll have the resources we need”, and praises his “incredible generosity”.

Podesta asked if, just days from the election, Comey’s revelation is “something you toss on the table, or do you take the time and do what other prosecutors have done in the past and make sure it’s so significant that you have to go forward with it?”
