Release Date And Trailer For Ant-Man DVD And Blu-Ray
The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe introduces its next biggest superhero: Marvel’s “Ant-Man”!
Just a week after we learned about Marvel’s plan for an Ant-Man sequel (titled Ant-Man and The Wasp), the studio has announced today that the first film will hit digital platforms on November 17th and DVD and Blu-ray on December 8th.
Following the trend established by the movie, Michael Pena has stolen the blu-ray announcement trailer for Ant-Man’s home video release with a hilarious voice-over. It also works as a tidy if brief summary of the movie as a whole for the uninformed. The trailer also featured a few scenes like gag reels, which included Paul Rudd dancing in his Ant-Man suit, how the production crew did the film sequences and Ant-Man’s shrinking scenes, and deleted sequences. Until then, the Blu-Ray will have to hold Marvel fans over (or at least until Ant-Man shows up in Captain America: Civil War in May). If it does well over there, Ant-Man could reach $500M when all is said and done.
A hard-hitting collection of content, including a glimpse at the future of Pym Technologies with Darren Cross, anchor Christine Everhart’s interview with soon-to-be-released prisoner Scott Lang on his notorious VistaCorp heist, and more.
